2026 AGE GROUP NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
SPRINT TRIATHLON
Age group athletes complete a Sprint distance triathlon comprised of a 750m swim, a 20km bike and a 5km run. Athletes compete for a top spot in their age group to qualify them for the Age Group Team Canada that will race in Hamburg, Germany at the 2027 Age Group World Triathlon Championships.
Standard Triathlon
The Standard triathlon sees age group athletes race in a 1500m swim, 40km bike and 10km run. Top age group athletes will earn their spot on Age Group Team Canada and qualify for the 2027 Age Group World Triathlon Championships in Hamburg, Germany.
Aquabike
The Aquabike event will consist of a 1500m swim and a 40km bike. Age group athletes finishing at the top of their division qualify to represent Age Group Team Canada at the 2027 Age Group World Triathlon Championships in Hamburg, Germany.
